Welcome to Cascade Lumen Co. (“Cascade Lumen”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing cascadelumenco.com, booking a demo, or engaging our services, you (“you”, “the client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 1. Services

Cascade Lumen Co. provides design, installation, and service of permanent outdoor architectural lighting systems for residential and commercial properties in Washington State. All installations are subject to on-site assessment, product availability, weather conditions, and a signed written contract.

2. Demos & Quotes

On-site demos are offered free of charge with no obligation. All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are subject to change based on scope changes, site conditions discovered during installation, or material/labor cost adjustments. Verbal quotes are not binding.

3. Pricing & Payments

Pricing is custom per home. Deposit and payment terms will be specified in your written contract (typically 50% deposit at signing, 50% on completion). We accept bank transfer, major credit cards, and approved financing. Late payments may be subject to interest at the maximum rate allowed under Washington law.

4. Warranties

  • Workmanship warranty: 5 years from install completion date on all labor, mounting, wiring, and controller installation
  • Product warranty: transferable manufacturer warranty on LED fixtures and controller hardware per the specific product installed — details provided in your contract
  • Warranty exclusions: damage caused by acts of nature, animal interference, unauthorized modifications, electrical surges, impact, or improper use of the control app

Warranty claims must be made in writing within 30 days of the defect appearing. We will respond within 5 business days.

5. Scheduling & Cancellation

Installation dates are confirmed in writing after deposit is received. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled install. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a restocking fee for pre-cut custom materials.

6. Access & Site Conditions

You agree to provide safe access to the installation area, including a dry work surface, clear ladder pathways, and access to an exterior outlet. We reserve the right to delay or reschedule if site conditions are unsafe. Any discovered issues (rotten fascia, exposed wiring, pest damage) will be documented and discussed before we proceed.

7. Website Content & Image Disclosure

Please note: Project images, before/after photos, and gallery shots on this website have been visually enhanced (color, exposure, sharpness, dusk-lighting rendering) to best represent the quality and aesthetic of our installations. Actual results may vary based on your home’s architecture, roofline layout, landscape, and chosen lighting plan. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

All copy, images, logos, and site content are the property of Cascade Lumen Co. and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. SMS & Email Communications

By submitting a form on this website and opting in to SMS, you agree to receive text messages and phone calls from Cascade Lumen Co. related to your demo request, project scheduling, and account updates. See our Privacy Policy for full consent terms. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cascade Lumen Co. and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cascade Lumen Co., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising out of your misuse of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington. You agree to attempt good-faith resolution with us directly before pursuing legal action.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
